The Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople, Inc. (WAAC) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization of approximately 400 professional artists and craftspeople from throughout the state. We work together to develop exhibition opportunities and to encourage the arts in Wisconsin. Art forms represented include painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, fiber, wood, jewelry, graphics and more. WAAC produces Madison’s Art Fair Off the Square in July, and the Winter Art Fair Off the Square at Monona Terrace in November.

WAAC’s objectives are to:

• promote the visual arts by providing opportunities and support for Wisconsin artists and craftspeople

• offer full cooperation among our members in an effort to cope with, and help resolve, problems, and to address situations unique to artists and craftspeople

• encourage and promote Wisconsin’s young artists and craftspeople
