In this time-honored event, participants toss a different kind of frisbee — that’s right, cow pies, dung discs, meadow muffins. Participants (“chip chuckers”) choose two flat, dried, and (mostly) odorless “chips” to “chuck.” No gloves allowed. Levels of competition range from the “Corporate Throw” to divisions for kids, adults and teams. The rest of the doings revolve around music, kids' activities, volleyball tourney, fun run, art fair and a food court. Schedule below.

• Children’s Chip Chucking: 9:00 AM – Noon ($2.00)

• Adult & Team Cow Chip Throw: 1:00 PM

Over the years, the lighthearted tradition continues! We welcome you to attend the Cow Chip Arts & Craft Fair during the annual Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw and Festival! This is one of the region’s largest events, and we invite you to submit an application to be a part of it! Our fair hosts 150 vendor spaces, which guarantees a wide variety of art and craft items for sale!
