World Water Day

press release: Each Spring, UW-Sierra Student Coalition hosts a World Water Day event inviting people to speak about different local and regional water topics with a Q&A afterward.  

This year's event, co-sponsored by the Sierra Club - John Muir Chapter, takes place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 in Science Hall Room 180 (550 N. Park Street), Madison. There will be a series of 5-10 minute presentations with a discussion following. There will be a variety of interests covered at the event, including drinking water contamination, the effects of climate change on water systems, the role of science in water management and invasive species.
