This is Kingfisher Yoga's third year running the Yoga & Soul Festival. We partner with The Vines in Sauk City - a small, family owned vineyard. Because they have a stage, we are able to have live music every night from local artists like Mark Croft and Avian Aura (based in Madison). All of our teachers and facilitators are incredible and come from all over Wisconsin. Many of our teachers volunteer their time in exchange for offering their wisdom at the festival. The days are full of asana, meditation, nidra, pranayama, workshops, crafts, laughter, and so much more.
In 2025, we were able to donate a considerable amount of food to the local community, make donations to our favorite pet rescues Fetch Wisconsin and Brown Paws, uplift small businesses by giving them a free place to share their gifts and goods with the community, as well as provide facilitators with compensation after all of our costs for running the festival were covered. No profits from the festival came back to Kingfisher Yoga. In addition, every year, we invite studio owners from our surrounding area to join us for Yoga & Soul Festival FREE of charge. We know how taxing it is to be a space holder. We know how hard yoga teachers have to hustle to provide for themselves and this feels in alignment with the reason Kingfisher Yoga and Yoga and Soul Festival exist.
It is truly a special environment to share with so many folks who love this practice and who love sharing in community with each other.
Our intention is to create a safe, inclusive atmosphere for all to practice, laugh, bathe in nature and return home to themselves. Our facilitators come from all over Wisconsin to share their wisdom and gifts. At the end of this festival, our hope is for all to feel that their cup has been filled. To feel they have rediscovered all of the love and light that they are. To feel that they have come back home.
