Young Jesus make emotionally-driven indie rock that explores themes of daily life for people just trying to get by. Three years after releasing their terrific debut LP Home, the band has moved from Chicago to L.A. and brought two new members on board in order to create their impressive sophomore effort, Grow/Decompose. Expect to hear songs built out of character studies that give voice to the marginalized and the looked-over. With Madison power pop outfit Heavy Looks and surf-punk newcomers the Ferns.
