The Mustard Museum is putting on its final National Mustard Day in Mount Horeb today before moving on to a new home in Middleton. This celebration revolves around the venerable condiment, the eats including 3,000 Oscar Mayer Jumbo Beef Franks (free with mustard, $10 with ketchup), frozen mustard custard from Culver's, cheese and mustard pairings, and tastings by Grey Poupon, Robert Rothschild Farms, Silver Spring, Hawkwind Mustard, and The Mustard Girl. Live music, mustard-themed games, and other yellow-tinged activities round out the day, with proceeds from donations for the eats going to the Mount Horeb Food Pantry. Learn the basics of preparing and canning jams and jellies from John and Joan Oosterwyk, 25-year veterans of the Dane County Farmers' Market.
