Drew Glackin
I'll pay my respects for Drew Glackin at a High Noon memorial and fundraiser Thursday.
The bassist for favorite shows for 2007, The Silos with Jon Dee Graham was #5 on my hit parade.
"I'm always amazed at how musicians like Graham can ramp up emotional intensity on command," I wrote. "As one song ended, he teetered on the precipice of love and loss and then with a wink asked Silos bassist Drew Glackin: 'Which way should we go -- optimism or reality?'"
Reality was that Drew Glackin was a dead man within nine months.
