UP: Bill Johnston. The publisher of the Wisconsin State Journal announces he will retire on Dec. 31 and move to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where he and his wife recently purchased a home.
DOWN: Gov. Scott Walker. The governor already finds himself in a tight race against Mary Burke, even though 70% of voters polled don't know who she is. Marquette University Law School's poll of 800 voters found Walker up with 47% favorability to Burke's 45%. Similarly, state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout (D-Alma), who is also considering a run for governor, trails Walker only 44% to 47%, even though 79% of those polled didn't know her.
