A coalition of Wisconsin humane societies and individuals requested the injunction, arguing that the state did not have protections in place to prevent violent clashes between wolves and dogs during the training and hunting seasons.
DOWN: Paul Ryan. After basking in adulation as Mitt Romney's pick for a running mate, the Janesville congressman does serious damage to his credibility during a prime-time speech at the Republican National Convention. Fact-checkers spend the next day debunking several of his claims, including that President Barack Obama was to blame for the shuttering of the General Motors plant in Janesville. Most operations there ended in December 2008, a month before Obama took office.
