UP: Don Gorske. The 57-year-old Fond du Lac resident eats his 25,000th Big Mac. For the last 39 years, the meal has been a daily ritual for Gorske, who admits he might suffer from OCD. Despite his diet, Gorske appears to be in decent health and says, "I plan on eating Big Macs until I die." Talk about an achievable goal.
DOWN: Madison. Madison Mayor Paul Soglin warns that the city of Madison may face a $25 million to $28 million budget shortfall to maintain existing services. The maximum tax hike allowed under Gov. Walker's "budget-repair bill" would be $15 million. "Do we have a solution yet? No, we don't," Soglin says. "We're obviously spending a lot of time on it."
