UP: Downtown bar owners. The state Supreme Court rules in favor of 24 bars named in a class-action lawsuit by two UW-Madison students. The students claimed a 2002 voluntary agreement to ban drink specials violated anti-trust law. The bar owners say they have spent more than $500,000 defending themselves against the lawsuit.
DOWN: Joe Norwick. The embattled 911 Center director seeks to mislead as he fields inquiries about the mishandling of a call from Brittany Zimmermann's cell phone on the day she was murdered. County Exec Kathleen Falk criticizes these representations, and overrules Norwick in apologizing to Zimmermann's family and fiancé; but she still stands by Norwick and resists calls that he be punished.
