UP: Madison schools. The school district will receive $3.4 million in an antitrust suit filed on behalf of Wisconsin governments against Microsoft Corp. The lawsuit was settled in 2007 and netted a total of $224 million for state schools. There are restrictions on how the money may be used, but it's good news in a district facing an $18.1 million budget deficit.
