DOWN: Warner Park geese. The Madison Park Commission quietly approved a plan to kill 80 to 100 Canada geese in June at Warner Park to keep them from flying into airplanes. And park officials plan to kill goose embryos in their eggs, beginning this week. But the geese are not without allies: Critics who say the threat to planes is overblown have formed a Facebook page to rally support for the condemned birds.
