UP: Recall petitioners. Organizers attempting to recall Gov. Scott Walker announced this week that after just 12 days, they'd collected 300,000 signatures - more than half of the roughly 540,000 needed to force an election. The petitioners have until Jan. 17 to gather the necessary signatures.
DOWN: Women's rights. Because improving the economy is apparently too much work, Republicans look to infringe on women's rights by redefining "personhood." Rep. Andre Jacque (R-Bellevue) introduced legislation calling for a constitutional amendment that would bestow human rights on fetuses.
