DOWN: Wind power. Gov. Scott Walker proposes a bill to quadruple the required distance between wind turbines and neighboring properties, a move that threatens millions of dollars of investment and thousands of jobs. Denise Bode, chief executive of the American Wind Energy Association, tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, "You're adding a new regulatory barrier and putting a 'closed for business' sign on Wisconsin for wind development."
