The Republican majority is muscling two bills through the state Legislature, one that would do away with the Government Accountability Board and another that would rewrite Wisconsin’s campaign finance rules. As Bill Lueders reported in last week’s Isthmus, the proposals are controversial and allow for an unprecedented flow of money into elections, with little disclosure required from donors.
