The Wisconsin Assembly passed three bills Thursday on party line votes that restrict abortion rights in Wisconsin. Initially circulated only within the last several weeks, these bills mandate ultrasounds for women seeking abortions and require hospital admitting privileges for doctors conducting them, as well as ban sex-selective abortions, eliminate coverage from public employee health plans and exempt faith-based groups from a state requirements to provide prescription contraception coverage.
