With Earth Day on Tuesday and Isthmus Green Day on Saturday, this is unquestionably Green Week in Madison. Mayor Dave Cieslewicz, an unapologetic environmentalist, is marking the occasion in a number of ways including recognition of Edgewood's' LEED-certified dorm, speaking to the UW Sustainable Communities class and helping to kick off the festivities at Monona Terrace on Saturday.
Mixed in to the proceedings is Tuesday's Common Council meeting at which a new president will be elected.
