The status quo was the big winner in this year's elections for the Dane County Board, with 11 out of 13 incumbents winning in among the 17 contested supervisor races on Tuesday. Liberals and progressives will build slightly upon their majority on the board, showing increased strength this year on the peripheries of Madison and its closest suburbs, Middleton and Fitchburg.
