Tomorrow, when you're out participating in democracy by voting in our local elections, we need you to keep your eyes and ears open and report back to us.
Snap a few photos, ask a few questions, eavesdrop on a few conversations and email the results to us at vote@isthmus.com. We'll be publishing your observations -- along with reports from Isthmus operatives -- at TheDailyPage.com starting right away in the morning until late that night.
I hesitate to call this citizen journalism, but we know our readers are politically active and as curious as we are about what's going on around the city.
We have a tradition for reporting, at minimum, time, number and location in Forum each voting day, and that will probably continue. But this will be an opportunity to learn a little more about our neighbors, the way we go about electing our leaders and if our city truly is the cool and strange place it's cracked up to be.
Continue watching TheDailyPage.com for more details as Election Day approaches.
