Save something worth saving

If you didn't want it painted, then you should have bought it yourself. This town is full of lousy supposed do-gooders that just want to tell people what to do, especially with other peoples property. This manufactured outrage over supposed loss of historical architecture is laughable and gives our city a bad name. In 100 years are you going to want to save all of the crappy houses built in the burbs in the '80s? I doubt it.

Two words: Design District

If the new owners wanted to paint a building, then they should have bought one outside of the downtown design district. Please include all the facts in your diatribe about property rights and your fantasy of a libertarian utopia.

And what's more outrageous? The "manufactured outrage" you cite or your outrage at the manufactured outrage. I vote for the latter.
