"I made this video a few years ago," notes Deacon Dr. Joe. "It was a real learning experience."
The deacon, also known as Kondor Koi or Joe Price, is the vocalist for Most of the time, though, its members remain busy with Droids Attack and Helliphant (MySpace), the latter featuring the same lineup, plus a keyboardist. Way Off The Horse's second album, The Un-Sought-After Level, released in 2004, includes the blazing track "Chicks Dig the Wig." This is the one and only song by the noise merchants featured in a video, complete with an animated version of the group. This music video follows below. Also available for viewing is a live concert video of Way Off The Horse playing "I Hate Your New Car" at the High Noon Saloon. More music by the band can be found on its MySpace page. Though Way Off The Horse does not currently have any upcoming shows, both Droids Attack and Helliphant have local gigs over the next month. The malevolent robot will be taking the stage at the Inferno on Thursday, June 28, and again on Thursday, July 12, for a show at The Klinic. The tusks and brimstone, meanwhile, will be raging at the Annex on Saturday, July 14.
