The Madison blues-rock trio Clovis Mann originally released their song "Gravedigger" on a self-titled EP in 2005, highlighting the thick and driving jam again on their self-titled debut album released last year. The song has made an impression, getting high ratings on Broadjam at the beginning of the year, and is emphasized by the band as an exemplar of their sound.
As described by Clovis Mann bassist Stosh Jonjak, the track is "genuine, honest, and soulful," one that delivers "the true musical message from three small-town Wisconsin men." Now "Gravedigger" is their first song to be featured in a music video, directed by Ryan Tallant and released just over the weekend.
