It's getting to be a busy autumn for Flat Atom, the industrial-metal quintet from Madison. In addition to launching a Midwest tour this weekend, the band has also released its first full blown music video. Set to the song "Hump" from their January '07 release Flux, the video features footage from a pair of live shows this year: the CD release party at the High Noon Saloon on January 5 and a concert at the Badger Theater in Reedsburg on June 9.
Up next for Flat Atom is a remix CD, tentatively titled Re-Flux, that they have been working on since last spring. "The mixes we have right now sound killer," reports the band, noting that they are available for listening on their MySpace page. The group is hoping to release the album by the end of the year.
