Only days following their most recent live performance on Thursday, May 24, the Madison-based sketch comedy troupe The Public Drunkards have released three new video shorts. One of these is a mock commercial that lampoons the wireless carrier known as Helio, which has run a high profile ad campaign over the last year declaring its transcendence beyond the status of a mere cell phone.
"I hope they'll really like it and put it on television and stuff," ends the description for the sketch, with tongue planted firmly in cheek.
This spoof spot, along with both others shorts just released, follows below.
The other two comedy shorts released this week by the Public Drunkards are "Stalked by Ham" featuring Amy Wegner and available here; and "Dan Potacke-bay," a sequel sketch that is accompanied by its own available here.
