Inglourious Basterds: Brad Pitt leads an all-Jewish squadron of bloodthirsty Nazi hunters in Quentin Tarantino's glorious mash-up of the war and vengeance genres. For all its stylistic flourishes, it's really a bloody good war movie.

Taking Woodstock: A young man (Demetri Martin) tries to save his parents' crumbling Catskills motel by luring the proposed Woodstock festival. Director Ang Lee goes a little over the top in romanticizing the event, but this is a fairly charming look at the Woodstock we sort of wish it had been.
