Madison Folk Dance Unlimited

media release: Hey, we are indoors on wood at our winter home in James Madison Park - come help us stamp out folk dances!

6:00 – 10:00 pm  (come & go as you like)

6:00 - 6:40   Teaching for new & returning dancers with empowering attention to general skills.  Specific dances AND how to dance!

6:40 – 7:00  Mimi teaches  Boimitsa  from the Aegean Macedonians.

7:00 - 9:50   Request dancing with DJ.  Mostly line & circle dances of E. Europe.  First hour is especially user-friendly & playful with lots of hints, hacks, & cues. Try things anytime – folks will help!  You can follow behind, jump in or out as you like.  Watching is fine.

DONATE  We suggest $5-$10 in the basket for shelter fee, but whatever is right.  Your participation is the main thing, always.

HEALTH  Vaccination no longer required.  Do put your contact info in White Binder if we don’t yet - just in case.

PARKING  Large free lot right there.  In nice weather, some park users may be in the lot early on.  Street parking is always there.
