Festival of Christmas and Midwinter Traditions
media release: Join us for the 77th Annual Festival of Christmas & Midwinter Traditions, a beloved Folklore Village tradition since 1947! Founded by Jane Farwell to counter the commercialization of the season, this festival brings together people of all ages to celebrate holiday customs from around the world. The event features dance workshops with Andy Taylor-Blenis, singing workshops with Sarina Partridge and Heidi Wilson, traditional crafts, cultural teas, festive evening parties, and special children’s programming. Whether you are interested in folk dancing, singing, crafting, or family-friendly fun, this festival offers something for everyone.
Registration:
Full-time registration includes all meals, workshops, parties, teas, and events from December 28 through brunch on January 1.
Adults: $485 (before December 7), $515 (after December 7)
Teens (ages 13-17): $305 (before December 7), $325 (after December 7)
Youth (ages 5-12): $235 (before December 7), $255 (after December 7)
Children under 5: Free (must be registered)
Part-time registration options are also available.
