Santka Lucia

media release: Celebrate the beauty of light in the heart of winter at the Sankta Lucia Social! The day begins with afternoon workshops where children can create seasonal crafts and learn how to shape *lussekatter*, the saffron buns traditionally served during Sankta Lucia. Any children or teens wishing to participate in the evening’s candlelit Lucia procession must attend the workshop to learn the Lucia songs. The evening festivities begin with a community potluck at 6:00 PM, followed by the Lucia procession and family-friendly dancing. End the evening with the delicious *lussekatter* made earlier in the day. Saturday Night Socials are funded in part by a grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.

Admission:  Afternoon workshops & evening celebration: $15 adults, $12 seniors/teens, $10 children (ages 5-12), free for children under 5.  

Evening-only admission: $10 adults, $8 seniors/teens, $5 children (ages 5-12), free for children under 5.
