Printmaking Demonstrations: During this event, our collaborative printmakers will demonstrate a few printmaking processes often used in our studio to create editions with world-renowned artists.

Shop Available Prints: Tandem Press has collaborated with over one hundred artists over the years, so our inventory includes artworks from many different genres and styles. Come shop available prints in our print viewing area. Tandem Press curators will be available for consultations.
Many prints will be eligible for a 20% discount if purchased during this open house, through the end of December 2024. Framing and other exclusions apply.
View Our New Exhibition: Our new exhibition In Tandem: Lynda Benglis and Sam Gilliam will be on view in the gallery. This exhibition features a small selection of work from Tandem Press’s early years, showcasing glass sculptures and multi-layered prints by two ground-breaking artists.

The Chazen Museum of Art in Madison, Wisconsin is the official archive of Tandem Press and receives one print from every edition that is published.
In addition to its professional and research operatives, Tandem Press is also an important educational entity affiliated alongside the Art Department within the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Students employed at Tandem Press complement their coursework with practical hands-on experience, gaining an unparalleled insight into the professional art world by working as assistants to the Tandem Press collaborative printmakers and curators in the production and promotion of fine art prints created by leading contemporary artists. Tandem Press also partners with other departments at the university and organizations throughout Wisconsin to offer tours, printmaking workshops, and other special events that serve artists, students, faculty, staff and the general public.
