media release: Contact Free “Hybrid” Trivia Show at the Brass Ring and online every Wednesday & Thursday at 7 pm. Want to Play? Go to https://discord.gg/9cN5aEQ on your phone and that will take you to the General Hybrid Trivia Server. This will allow you to compete in future events and give you the "free answer". If you don't have the app, it will walk you through the sign-up. At trivia time, when you are signed in please announce your team name and your desire to play and you will be given an "answer channel", it will look like "13-team-amazing". That is the only place you will answer (answering in the general channel will give your answer to others). Immediately "say" something in your channel so the host knows you are there.

Dec. 22 ANNOUNCEMENT:  There will be no more lottery for show spots, it will be in the order teams arrive in the show sign up server. 

The email will be delivered and channels will be posted between noon and 2pm every Friday.  Invitations will be assigned based on your order that you signed up in the server that is specific to the date of the show.

Things to Know

Reserve for the amount of people you believe will attend:  I realize it is hard to be perfect, but it gives you the best chance to get an invitation if you are accurate with the number of people you request an invitation for.  (Again, I know its hard, sometimes)

We generally keep about 50% of the facility free for walk-in traffic:  Every show will have available first come, first serve seating.  It may vary sometimes so I try to give you a “forecast” like the one above.

Don’t be Late:  You need to have one person there by 6:45.  No exceptions.  We turn people away from this show, so please understand that we have to enforce this strictly.

Best Practices for getting a First Come, First Served table:  When trivia is “in season”and busy or we have large events in the area it is best to use the following as guidelines.  Of course these could be wrong, but I can only tell you what usually is expected.

Larger tables (considered 6 or larger) tend to fill up between 6:00-6:15, sometimes they can split you up or be creative, but if you want to sit together, that is the best time.  As time ticks forward, available spots get taken by smaller groups with the Brass Ring usually at capacity between 6:15 and 6:45.  This is how it happens when we are busy and you can always DM me and inquire about our thoughts on the night or just look at the show channel to see how popular it appears to be.
