Wisconsin Men’s Crew, UW’s oldest sport, is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2024.
UW has won 14 Teny Eyck national championship trophies, the second most decorated team in the United States. Since 1968 more than 65 Wisconsin oarsmen have represented the United States in international competitions.
In September, more than 700 attendees celebrated men’s crew’s sesquicentennial here in Madison. The event’s co-chairs, Pete Dietrich and Bob Hougard, will speak to us about Wisconsin’s Rowing Legacy.
