media release: Local dance studio Dance Fabulous is bringing the holidays to The Bur Oak in a way that’s anything but traditional!
Join performers of all ages, from their 20s to 70s, for three nights of wild fun during the “Ho Ho Ho!—A Holiday Variety Burlesque Cabaret Spectacular (for People Who Hate the Holidays!).”
No matter how you actually feel about the holidays, you’re going to love these no-so-classic takes on holiday favorites, including a Nutcracker/Rockettes mash-up you have to see to believe, classics from The Grinch and Mean Girls, the sexiest Santas, and a musical spin on the quintessential holiday film: Die Hard! Putting a bow on each night’s show is live music from DOSES.
The shows take place November 26, 29 and 30 at 7:30pm at The Bur Oak on Winnebago Street in Madison. Keep the party going after the Saturday, November 30 show with a dance set from DJ ScaryMike and the Geminis.
Tickets for the November 26 show are $20 for general admission or a VIP table for $100, and the November 29 and 30 shows are $25 for general admission (purchased in advance), $30 for general admission (day of the show) or $125 for a VIP table.
