media release: Singer-songwriter Ken Lonnquist, guitarist Doug Brown, and bassist Pete Olig perform a tribute to the late GORDON LIGHTFOOT on the anniversary weekend of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald, which Lightfoot immortalized in his epic 1976 ballad.

The trio will perform Lightfoot songs from 4-7 pm, including hits and lesser-known gems... with an emphasis on songs of the sea,  and more than one shipwreck ballad... including, of course, "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald".

The trio performed a memorable concert one month after the late Canadian songwriter’s death.  Harmony Bar owners Pam & Mike Barrett immediately suggested another Lightfoot concert on the weekend closest to November 10, the day the Great Lakes ore ship went down with 29 crew members.
