Marisa Balistreri is a Madison-based vocalist. A former professional Italian opera singer with an international career, Marisa currently collaborates with her songwriter-guitarist husband, Stefan Hall, on original folk-jazz tunes inspired by music from around the world and in several languages.
Guitarist and composer Stefan Hall received his master's degree and doctorate from St. Louis University in medieval language and literature. Since the early 1990s, Stefan has gigged steadily both as a solo guitarist and in various jazz, Latin jazz, jazz Manouche, blues, and folk ensembles.
