Mali’s most recent project is a collection of wearable objects that respond to the harshness of winter. She will be exhibiting both objects and photographs of the objects in use. With this work Mali responds to feelings of isolation and silence that winter bestows upon the human condition.
In this exhibit Liz explores systems of infrastructure using pvc pipe. Some works resemble fragments of the built environment while others take on a fleshy human quality. Preventing and managing failure is central to this body of work just as it is critical when maintaining infrastructure and going about daily life.
