With the second coming of vinyl in full swing, nostalgia is king in the music industry. And no one knows that better than Madison’s Rare Plant Records, who deal exclusively in the earthy crackle of cassette tapes. They’ll be hosting their second showcase of indie music, including Madison favorites Pollinators, the Momotaros, the Tea Heads and Trophy Dad, as well as Howardian, a New York-based group that’s a spinoff of noise punk demigods Japanther. All that for a measly $6 cover is tough to beat.
