The innovative theater company brings together comedy, drama, music and dance in a collaborative extravaganza co-directed by artistic director Jessica Lanius and American Players Theatre veteran James DeVita. As with other LILA productions, it’s not so much a play as an exploration. Local and national playwrights, performers and storytellers look at intimacy, nightmares, betrayal and dreams.

Original music for The Bed will be composed by Erin Crabb and G.W. Rodriguez, with scenic design by Mike Lawler and lighting design by Jason Fassl. Costumes and props will be designed by Shannon Heibler.

School Performances
Theatre LILA invites area high school and college students (tenth grade and up) to attend matinee performances March 16 & 17 at 10am. Through a low cost ticket program, student tickets are available for these performances for only $10 apiece. After each show Lanius will lead an educational talk-back with the actors to extend the learning beyond the stage.
