Cassette Records Films presents...
...the first music video for The Pistols at Dawn. They are a surf punk trio ready to demand satisfaction from those wantonly causing injury and dishonour in such a manner, and to such an extent, that no gentlemen can willingly suffer. Shot entirely on VHS-C and Super 8, the video was produced by the band itself features live studio footage interspersed with claymation on the eponymous monster. Are you ready to receive their fire?
The DIY music video follows below.
Formed a few mere months ago in the spring of 2006, The Pistols at Dawn consist of Tim Consequence on the Farfisa organ, Alexei Broner on the guitar, and Alex "Emo" Smith on the drums. More information about the band is available on their MySpace page.
The video was directed by Consequence (of the now defunct punk trio The Consequences), with the animation created by Consequence, Chee Lor and Cody Pine. The song was recorded at Spyder Studios, with another look at the track available in this live concert video.
The pistoleers are going to be seeking satisfaction on stage over the next few days. The band is taking their ground at an early show tonight, Friday, Dec. 15, to be held appropriately enough like all duels at an undisclosed location.
