Today's image is slytherin and was photographed by Ralph Grunewald.
He describes the photo: "A parade of masks, music, and certainly many colors on today's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Madison, Wisconsin. The weather couldn't have been better, and the crowd was cheerful and enthusiastic. Madison spirit." Grunewald also shot an image of the skyline of Capitol Square as seen reflected off the surface of a spotless tuba played by a member of the 132nd Army Band of the Wisconsin National Guard.
More images of the St. Patrick's Day festivities on Saturday can be viewed here, here and here, along with a full full photo gallery of the parade.
