Devil's Delight
Today's image is titled Devil's Delight and was photographed by Justin Aten.
Nestled between Devil's Lake State Park and the Devil's Head Ski Resort in southern Sauk County is a mile-long stretch of road known as Devil's Delight End. Located about an hour northwest of Madison, the road may pose a temptation to musicians looking to conduct an infernal transaction.
"Man, that was one tough fiddle contest," wrote Aten in the caption for his photo. Hmm, what might he have in store for Saturday, March 10, when his band The Grizzlies return for their latest performance at Mickey's Tavern?
Aten has published several other photos from a fishing trip to the Devil's playground across the Wisconsin River, including views of the Sauk City powerplant, a snowplow convention, a few fresh catches (including a brown trout and rainbow trout), and, finally, a view from the top of Devil's Delight.
