In fact, it is also notable that while the Tea Party organizers spotlighted Thompson's announcement that he was not running, they did not even include slots for the men who are running. Rumor is Wall can't give a speech.
The speech by Tommy was alarming. The guy who championed government health care programs and even health insurance mandates expressed outrage that President Obama and Russ Feingold have been following his lead in D.C. When they do it's called "socialized medicine" though. I wrote to David Blaska that Tommy's speech was so venomous it made me think the Stately Squire was writing his talking points once again.
