press release: The High Noon Saloon (Madison’s favorite live music venue), recently announced a “Happy Friday” music series featuring top local talent performing from 5 to 7 pm on Fridays.

The High Noon’s talent wranglers (wisely) contracted the services of Big Wes Turner’s Trio, that stripped-down ensemble dubbed by at least one local media wag as “...the biggest little band in Madland...”, for weekend-initiating musical merriment on Friday, March 1.

Almost immediately after this news became public, Maximum Ink (Madison’s Music Magazine) reported that the show was “SOLD OUT”! Given that the “Happy Friday” format is admission-free, this was surprising news. Such paradoxical occurrences, at least according to Big Wes Turner (recently reached via satellite phone), are not unheard of, but how best can aficionados of weekends and drink specials address this conundrum?

Loyal fans of Big Wes Turner’s Trio (“Turnerites”) who failed to acquire their tickets for this unticketed event should contact the band directly at bigwesturnerstrio@gmail.com to arrange for a special “VIT Pass.” For all others disappointed to miss their chance to participate in this FREE sold out event, arrangements can be made. Regardless of how much of the High Noon’s SRO capacity winds up being available for this once-in-blue-moon, sold-out, no-cover event, all those in attendance can expect to be treated to two “Happy Friday” hours of “Rockin’ RHYTMN & Swingin’ BLUES™” from Big Wes Turner’s Trio. (A “big strong line” for The Madison is recommended.)
