A 2019 Girls Rock Camp Madison showcase at High Noon Saloon.
(2022 Isthmus pick) Under the direction of Beth Kille of Gin, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets, youngsters flock to the rock and roll church at Westminster Presbyterian each summer for the always-filled, one-week Girls Rock Camp. There, bands are created, songs rehearsed and professionally recorded, and a show emerges. This show features one session of this summer’s crop of talent, some of whom are sure to land a gig at the High Noon down the road as adult players. To receive updates about future camp dates, sign up at girlsrockmadison.org.
Free/donations. Session 1 showcase is June 29; Session 2 is July 20; and Session 3 is Aug. 3.
