Why must Waunakee have all the fun? Middleton, informally known as the Good Neighbor City, has its own summer festival — and, being neighborly sorts, these folks welcome everyone. There’s classic carnival rides, an art fair, and a parade at noon on Sunday. The solid band schedule starts on Friday with The Mascot Theory at 5 p.m., and SuperTuesday at 8 p.m.; Saturday kicks off with Panchromatic Steel at 9:30 a.m., The Jimmys follow at 2:30 p.m., and the LoveMonkeys close it out at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, Red Hot Horn Dawgs play at 1:30 p.m. Proceeds fund a variety of local charities. media release: The Middleton Good Neighbor Festival is put on by a group of dedicated volunteers from Middleton service clubs and nonprofit organizations.  When you come to the festival, you’re supporting the good works these groups do in the community!

The festival has a different theme each year.  This year the theme is “The Greatest Show in Town”.

We encourage you to have fun with the circus theme – run our 5k in clown shoes, help your child decorate a circus wagon for the Infinity Martial Arts Kiddie Parade, or enter a circus-themed float in the Good Neighbor Festival parade and maybe win a prize!  We’re looking forward to seeing you center ring at the 2024 Good Neighbor Festival!

The 2024 Art and Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, August 24  from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, August 25th from 10 am to 3 pm. Proceeds from booth fees at the Art and Craft Fair will go to the Middleton Lions Club which will use the funds to support local charitable projects such as the Restoring Hope Transplant House.
