(2022 Isthmus pick) For seasoned local clubgoers, the Hometown Sweethearts are synonymous with the Crystal Corner. But given that bassist Christian Boeger now lives in Australia the opportunity to hear the band is rare. The Sweethearts are a cover-band-lover’s wet dream. The trio pumps through hits and near-hits of the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and beyond, barely taking a breath between songs.
