Lieutenant Governor's Small Business Academy
media release: The 11th Annual Lieutenant Governor’s Small Business Academy will take place in-person statewide Tuesday, April 30. There will also be a virtual academy from Wednesday, May 1 – Friday, May 3.
Regional in-person events will be held throughout the state on Tuesday, April 30 from 8 a.m.-Noon. Attendance will give access to testimonies from established businesses owners, community business development leaders, business topic roundtables, educational sessions, and technical assistance resources.
The Madison event takes place at the Black Business Hub on the 4th floor, 2352 S. Park St., Madison.
Virtual events start at 9 am daily.
The four-day academy is free to attend and is an event ideal for existing small businesses, individuals thinking of starting a business, and entrepreneurs looking for funding and resources to help them build a successful business.
The conference is focused on providing an opportunity to learn from and connect with business leaders, technical and financial resource providers and identify the tools needed to start and grow their businesses.
