media release: Three Midwest bands are teaming up for an epic and entertaining evening of live music on Friday May 10th, 2024 at High Noon Saloon in Madison. The show will feature a long set of mostly original music from each band, featuring a variety of genres, including funk, rock, jam/improv, Americana, folk, blues, grunge, and more!
Lunar Ticks: Influenced by the songwriting and studio experimentation of ‘90s and 2000s innovative alternative/indie rock bands like Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Ween, The Flaming Lips and Pavement, Lunar Ticks fuse those influences with genre-bending, progressive musicality and exploratory improvisation. The band aims to create a unique and memorable experience every time they pick up their instruments
Alex White & The Friends perform a high-energy live show steeped in the sounds of Funk, Rock, and Americana blended with a healthy dose of improvisation. They strive to constantly progress and hone their craft as they continue to rise on the scene and write new material inspired by the highs and lows of the many avenues of our human experience.
