“A Very Kitschy Christmas” is the theme for this event hosted by comedian and impersonator Melissa Brumm, aka MELVIS, the “drag king.” The show will feature the music of Elvis Presley, holiday tunes, and some surprises, along with comedy and dance. '50s-style or fancy dress attire is encouraged, but be ready for the dance party to continue with DJ Sun Queen after MELVIS has left the building.

“A Very Kitschy Christmas” is a musical comedy show featuring impersonator and comedian Melissa Brumm and her act MELVIS. MELVIS is a female Elvis parody act often referred to as “the drag king” (as in “THE King of rock n roll” in drag). In her act, Melissa is also known to impersonate the likes of Rachel Maddow, Wayne & Garth from Wayne’s World, Sonny & Cher and of course, Elvis Presley.
This show will feature Elvis tunes, kitschy jokes, dance routines, and Christmas songs performed by MELVIS plus one or two of the other characters that MELVIS impersonates may pop up as well.
By the end of the night the whole crowd will be on their feet dancing to "Tequila" and other Elvis hits! And stay on your feet for after the show, DJ Sun Queen will be spinning all your favorite '50s & Christmas hits at the '50s Christmas Dance Party.
Come dressed up fancy or in you best '50s outfit.
We will also be taking donations to go to Middleton Outreach Ministry.
MELVIS the drag king is a female comic Elvis tribute act from Madison, Wisconsin, specializing in interactive shows singing Elvis songs & cover songs, leading dance numbers, and parodying Elvis tunes based on current events.
DJ Sun Queen is a producer and DJ from Madison, Wisconsin specializing in producing remixes and mashups based on classic rock hits and hosting dance parties.
