Keep it Green!
Any Walk participant who brings their own water bottle on Walk Day will receive a "It's a Good Day to be Green" sticker that they can place on their water bottle. We will have jugs of water for people to refill their bottles, both at start, turn around point, and at the finish line.
Any Walk participant who arrives at Olin-Turville park on Walk Day via bike, carpooling, bus or walking, will also receive a "I'm Cool Because I Keep it Green" sticker.
Parking/Badger Game:
There is a home Badger football game on October 5th - the time is TBA. Regardless of what time the game starts, there will be traffic so be sure to come early! If you can, plan to bike, walk, take the bus, or carpool to Olin Park. Please park in the Goodman Pool parking lot (325 W. Olin ave) if at all possible. There will be a shuttle bus running continuously from 10am - 2:30pm between the Goodman Pool and Olin Park. There is limited parking at Olin Park. Please do not park in the "double" parking stalls that are reserved for boat trailers - if you do the City of Madison WILL give you a ticket. There will be spots open up by the Barn/Pavilion for any vehicle with a handicapped sticker.
